Government will bring another relief package of 35 thousand crores to speed up the economy

Preparations are being made to give a second booster dose to the stalled economy due to coronavirus infection. The government can give a big stumulus package. Earlier, the government had given a package of Rs 20 lakh crore but it failed to give a boost to the economy. Now the government is thinking of giving another incentive package of Rs 35 thousand crore. The government can announce it before the festival season.

Emphasis on employment and infrastructure projects

In this package of 35 thousand crore rupees of the central government, the emphasis will be on increasing jobs in urban and rural areas. Under this, apart from generating employment in urban and rural areas, the emphasis will be on bringing infrastructure projects and direct benefit transfer related schemes. The government wants to generate employment on a large scale so that demand is created in the economy and its pace can be accelerated.

Government wants to complete 25 infrastructure projects

The government wants to complete at least 25 big projects this year, so that more people can get employment. There may also be an announcement of relief for the automobile sector and companies making electronic equipment so that their product demand will increase. The government will start employment programs in urban and semi-urban areas on the lines of MNREGA. This scheme will be implemented first in Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities i.e. small cities before being implemented in big cities. After that it will be implemented in big cities.

The Central Government is going to promote such projects under the National Infrastructure Pipeline which creates more and more employment opportunities. Officials said that 20-25 such projects have been identified in which investing more money will create more jobs in the shortest possible time. These jobs will be for both skilled and unschilled people.
